This includes information such as your name, contact details, and, if you log in via Facebook, the data that Facebook shares with us. This page explains how you can request the removal of your personal information from OMGtrips systems, what steps are involved, and how long it will take. Following these instructions ensures that your data deletion request is processed quickly and transparently.

By requesting data deletion, you can permanently remove your personal details from our platform. This means that we will no longer store your name, email address, or any other information connected to your Facebook login or account with us. Once deleted, your data cannot be restored, so you will need to create a new account if you wish to use our services again.
How to Request Data Deletion
If you want to delete your data from OMGtrips, you can do so in two simple ways:
1. Request by Email
Send us an email at hello@omgtrips.com with the subject line “Request for Data Deletion.”
In your message, please include:

The email address linked to your OMGtrips or Facebook account

Any other information that may help us identify your account
Our support team will review your request, confirm your identity, and begin the deletion process.
2. Remove OMGtrips from Facebook Settings
If you connected to OMGtrips using your Facebook account, you can also manage data directly through Facebook:

Go to Facebook Settings → Apps and Websites

Locate OMGtrips in the list

Remove the connection
This will stop Facebook from sharing any data with OMGtrips in the future. However, if you want to completely remove data already collected, we still recommend sending us a data deletion email request.
What Happens After Your Request
Once we receive your request for data deletion:

We will verify your identity to ensure the request is valid.

All personal data associated with your account will be permanently deleted from our systems.

This process will be completed within 7 business days.

You will receive a confirmation email once your data deletion request has been finalized.
After your data is deleted, please note that we cannot recover it. If you later decide to use OMGtrips again, you will need to register as a new user.
